The recommended product dosage is 1-2 oz per 10,000 gallons of water per week. When used in automatic chlorinators and floaters, this product can be employed as a maintenance treatment. Fill the unit with the product and adjust the feeding mechanism to ensure a constant treatment level of 1-4 ppm available chlorine in the pool water. Typically, 1-2 ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons will be needed daily. Use a test kit or test strips to monitor chlorine levels and adjust the chlorine feed mechanism as necessary. Check and refill the chlorinator as needed.
It is important to note that this product should not come into direct contact with vinyl liners or other bleachable surfaces, as damage may occur. When used in skimmers, this product may only be used in plastic skimmers if the skimmer and piping between the skimmer and pump are also plastic. Do not add other chemicals through the skimmer when using this product in the skimmer, as an explosion or fire may result. In vinyl pools, do not turn the pump off for more than 8 hours when this product is in the skimmer.
